CHARACTERISTICS
Since the knowledge is
the raw material of the Management of the Knowledge, it is necessary to
characterize it:
 |
The Knowledge is
personal and individual and resides in the brain of the people. |
 |
It requires of a
certain context so that it acquires meaning. |
 |
It is intangible
since when is materialized it turns information. |
Two types of knowledge
exist, intimately related between if:
 |
Implicit: relative
to the experiences and emotions of the people being very difficult its
formulation and communication. |
 |
Explicit: one talks
about to data and surroundings very determined, being easily
transmissible in form of words or documents. |
The knowledge generation
entails an interaction between these two types of knowledge that according
to the model of Nonaka and Takeuchi (1995) entails four different phases:
 |
Socialization: it is
the process of implicit knowledge acquisition by transmission of
person to person when sharing experiences, becoming rich the
collective knowledge base that has the organization. |
 |
Externalización: it
is the essential activity in the knowledge generation consisting of
the implicit conversion of C of explicit C. By means of the
codification of first so that he is transmissible. |
 |
Combination: it
consists of the compilation, categorización and reconfiguration of
the present explicit Cs in the Organization, to produce new useful
explicit C for the Organization. |
 | Internalización:
it is the process of restoration of the recontextualizado explicit C
and adapted, transforming it into implicit knowledge, one is the
internalization of the abstract knowledge in the individuals of the
Organization. |
